emzone is a proud sponsor of Canadian athlete Elvis Stojko.

Stojko is a three-time World Champion, two-time Olympic silver medalist, and seven-time Canadian Champion.

At the age of 7, Stojko got his first dirt bike where he would go off road riding as dry land training for his figure skating. He was passionate about motorsports such as jet skiing, snowmobiling, and quading. In the late 90s, Stojko began doing laps with his Porsche and his love of racing grew stronger. While in Mexico, Stojko was introduced to kart racing through a friend. His first ride on a shifter kart was in October of 2011.

Beginning his karting career in 2012, Stojko has quickly begun to climb the ranks within racing proving to be skilled at more than just skating. His skating career has helped improve his focus and attention to detail in the racing world as in both sports mistakes can happen quickly and can cause serious injury.

Focused on improving his racing skills, Stojko has been building his reputation in motorsports as a serious competitor. He currently races in Rotax DD2 Masterclass in Canada and SKUSA Mexico series in the S1 and S4 classes in Mexico. His future goals are to race internationally either by open wheel or sedans.

At the 2013 Nationals, he was placed 2nd in his division. Ayrton Senna, Michael Schumacher, Rick Johnston and Jeremy McGrath are among those racers that Stojko considers his idols. He loves racing against 2013 National Champion Stuart Clark because he pushes him to become an even better racer.
